A Biden supporter (left) and a Trump supporter (right) get into a heated debate about the two candidates outside the White House as a crowd grows around them to listen. Although intense, the encounter remains entirely peaceful.

A local news reporter enters the crowd to interview citizens on either side of the debate. BLM plaza is a frenzy of news reporters and citizens gathered to witness and document the energy of the scene.

Surrounding the entire perimeter of the White House is a a non-scalable wall (pictured). Hoards of police officers and secret service officials guarded the area. Here, an African American police officer stands by his car against the background of BLM signs and decorations honoring George Floyd outside of the White House. The downtown had been heavily boarded up in anticipation of violence that never really materialized after damages caused by protests in June.
